Reminder – Panic At Proud Lake begins this Friday! Panic at Proud Lake
is a haunted adventure sponsored by the Friends of Proud Lake Recreation
Area. Participants will begin at Heavner Canoe Rental (located on
Garden Road) where they will don lifejackets and board canoes equipped
with outriggers. The adventure begins with an approximate 15 minute
canoe ride followed by an approximate one-mile haunted hike along a
twisted, terrifying trail through the woods and ends with a hayride.
Those who survive the adventure will then be shuttled by van back to
their vehicles.

On Friday and Saturday nights, the event will run from 7 p.m. until
midnight. No children under the age of 12 will be admitted for the
Friday and Saturday evening events. Cost is $12 per person. Sunday’s
events will be not so scary (due to the daylight) for children. Events
will be open to families and children of all ages from 1 to 4 p.m. Cost
is $7 per person. Children under the age of five are free.

For your safety, no mace, pepper spray, lighters, matches, laser
pointers, sharp objects, weapons or alcohol are permitted at the event.
Anyone is possession of any of these items will be refused admittance.
No pets.
