This weekend Friends of Proud Lake will be hosting another ICE CREAM SOCIAL at Proud Lake! It will be this Saturday from 1pm to 3pm at the cafe. Please come join us in the park for some delicious FREE ice cream. That’s right Free ICE CREAM! from the friends of Proud Lake. See you there!

Come on out this Saturday at 7PM at the Proud Lake Annex for a winter hayride and to hear a special guest speaker: Jeff Vallenger. He will be doing a voyage in time presentation by a campfire! You don’t want to miss this special event. Bring the family and remember to dress warmly. The cost for this wonderful event is FREE! We hope to see you this Saturday!

The Friends of Proud Lake will be hosting a winter hayride this Saturday night at 7PM. Enjoy the fallen snow while riding in our new designed haywagon. We will be offering coffee, hot chocolate and hot tea after our hayride. Come out and meet new friends and enjoy the outdoors! We will meet at the Annex building. After entering the park off Wixom Rd, follow the roadway to the next building on the left side. This is a free event. Donations are welcome.

Happy New Year from the Friends of Proud Lake. We would like to start the New Year off with our night hikes. These hikes will start at the Annex building in Proud Lake Recreation Area. The Annex building is the next building on the left after the Park Headquarters. Our hikes will be candlelit and will start at 7PM. We will do the hikes every 2nd and 4th Tuesdays for the next few months. Come on out and meet some new friends. We would love to show you our park. Cross country skiers and showshoers are welcome too! Bring along the family and even the family pet. Hot chocolate, coffee and tea will be available when you return. This is a free event but donations are welcome.
